Basketball legend Michael Jordan has arrived in Beijing for his first ever China visit. The 41-year-old star flew to Beijing on his private jet last night ( Monday ) and is staying at the St. Regis Hotel in Beijing. The three-day China trip is part of Jordan's 2004 Asian tour sponsored by sportswear giant Nike. The 41-year-old Jordan, a five-time Most Valuable Player and former Chicago Bulls star, will visit Beijing and Hong Kong before arriving in Taiwan for a 24-hour stop ahead of a trip to Tokyo on May 23. The NBA legend will have a busy three days in the Chinese capital, promoting Air Jordan sneakers, chatting with internet fans and playing basketball with high school kids. The flying man will also attend an exhibition at downtown Beijing's Oriental Plaza showcasing his 20-year career. In addition, Jordan will be present at the finals of Nike's High School Basketball League, and fans will be thrilled to enjoy a one-on-one face-off with the greatest ever basketball player.
