A pair of sneakers Michael Jordan wore during his first NBA season in 1984 have sold for nearly 2,000 US dollars at a basketball souvenir auction in China. The limited edition Nike's with Jordan's signature on the instep topped the bidding at the online auction in aid of a Shanghai children's medical centre treating leukemia patients, selling for 16,400 yuan, or 1,980 dollars. Among other items attracting interest in the three-week auction was a basketball signed by Jordan which went for 1,500 dollars and a pair of shoes worn by NBA wild-man Dennis Rodman for 600 dollars. The top bid for a piece of Yao Ming memorabilia was 10,000 yuan, or 1,200 dollars, for a signed basketball. Fifty-seven items including coats, shoes and pictures were on offer, mostly from NBA giants Jordan, Yao Ming and Kobe Bryant. 转自搜狐
