　　On Oct.17th this year, "ANA SKY WEB 2004" Beijing International Marathon Tournament will start. It is the 24th similar tournament in Beijing since the first tournament in 1981. Famous marathon athletes home and abroad will show their abilities in the tournament.

　　Since the first Beijing International Marathon Tournament was held, it has been held once a year, and has become a traditional international tournament with great influence and over 10 thousand athletes every year. Through 23 years development, it has grown greatly and refered as one of the most famous marathon tournament in the world.

　　Beijing International Marathon Tournament brings us not only the chance to cooperate and communicate, as well as get aquaintanced with many friends, but also the chance to develop our economy on the basis of sports and the chance to get exercised and show ourselves.

　　We earnestly hope that all the college and high school students, professional youth and people from all over the society with enthusiasm in commonweal, spirit of love, devotion,virtue and discipline could be dedicated into our volunteer group, devoted into the interaction of Beijing International Marathon Tournament.

　　The tournament starts from Tian'anmen Square, passes Xicheng, Haidian and Chaoyang district, ends in the Olympic Sports Centre. The section from Tian'anmen Square to the Olympic Sports Centre could let the athletes enjoy the perfect blending of Beijing's ancient charm and the modern brilliance.

　　 We will symbolically pay for the fare of traffic and foods for our volunteers in some degree, and distribute a memorial certificate. Before the tournament, we will also offer a traing course for each volunteer.

　　We believe that Beijing citizens will surely welcome the athletes with great spirit and working enthusiasm in an enlightened way. Let's be the emissary of culture, organizers of marathon tournament, and spread our love to the heart of each guest.
