　　Björn Lind was born on March 22, 1978 in Ljusterö. He is a Swedish cross country skier. Competing in three Winter Olympics, he won gold medals in both the Individual and Team sprint events at Torino in 2006. Lind's best finish at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships is a fourth in the individual sprint twice in 2005 and 2007. He has three World Cup victories in individual sprint events since 2005. The 2010/2011 season will be his first in the long distance tour.
