　　History and Abstract

　　Fencing originated in the Middle Ages in Europe, in the 14th century in Spain, France and Italy, there has been a dazzling Knight Class won a wide reputation with superb swordsmanship aspect in the world,. Since then the nobility of countries followed suit, and became the fashion of high society for a time. About in 1643, the King of France, Louis XIV, made provisions of the uniform and implement in fencing and the oldest six fencers crowned the hereditary aristocracy in Paris, thus the first swordplay genre was opened in France, fencing as a competitive sports projects taking shape.

　　Fencing became a competitive sport in the late 19th century, the first Fencing Association was established in 1882, and U.S. Amateur Fencing Association was established in 1893. The first Olympic Games have had fencing project in 1896, and were the only allowing professional players participating projects. Fencing was classified as an official event in the 6th East Asian Games.
