Construction of Venues at East Asian Games Tuanbo Sports Center Sped Up

　　Tianjin, as the host city of the 6th East Asian Games of 2013, has 14 new sports venues under construction, and many of them are located at Tuanbo of Jinghai County.

　　Up till now, the major structure and secondary structure of the velodrome as well as its accessory occupancies have finished pouring. The major structures of the shooting hall’s and field hockey field’s stands are complete, and the construction of secondary structure is underway. Meanwhile, the steel-structure roof and metal roof installation, curtain wall installation, electromechanical subcontract construction of all venues are in orderly progress. The rubble foundation of field hockey competition and practice fields is complete. The football field’s base layer repair is expected to begin in March. The setting out and earthwork backfilling of the baseball and softball field is finished while the foundation treatment and superstructure is about to begin.
