The 30th EAGA Council Meeting in Tianjin

　　On the morning of May 16, the 30th East Asian Games Association (EAGA) Council Meeting was held in Tianjin. Nine EAGA members and the representatives from sister Olympics committees attended the meeting. The 6th Tianjin East Asian Games Organizing Committee also invited and presented the meeting.

　　The Meeting was chaired by Liu Peng, the Director-general of General Administration of Sports of China and Chairman of EAGA Council. The 29th EAGA Council Meeting Minutes was approved in the Meeting. The Chairman Reports of the “Rules and Sports Committee” and the “Medical Committee” were also deliberated and approved in the Meeting.

　　Wang Jinsheng, Secretary-general of Tianjin EAG Organizing Committee, addressed the meeting on the 6th EAG Preparation Update Report. In his report, Wang Jinsheng stated that the preparation was going on smoothly under the leadership of Execution Bureau of the organizing committee. After the meeting, the Execution Bureau would carry out preparation in line with Chef de Mission Dossier, make transit to the competition stage, and strictly observe the timeframe and policies without change.
