DPR Korean weightlifters create six new records at EAG

　　TIANJIN, China, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- Two DPR Korean weightlifters grabbed the spotlight in the women's 69kg and 75kg categories at the 6th East Asian Games (EAG), breaking all six game records here on Tuesday.

　　Rim Jong Sim set new marks in the 69kg division with 117kg in snatch, 148kg in clean and jerk, and 265kg in total.

　　Tian Wenju of China won the silver medal with 225kg in total.

　　"I didn't know much about Rim before. But through today's event, I know how strong she is," said Tian.

　　The 75kg event became Kim Un Ju's solo show as she broke the game records in snatch (113kg), clean and jerk (153kg) and total (266kg) to claim the title.

　　Kim Ok Byol, also from DPR Korea, and China's Zhang Qian finished second and third with 231kg and 218kg in total respectively.

　　"It's my first experience in major event. There's still much to learn from those two DPR Korean athletes," said Zhang.

　　Out of five gold medals of weightlifting of the 6th EAG in total, three went to DPR Korea.
