Hosts China miss EAG men's volleyball final

  TIANJIN, China, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- Japan beat hosts China 25-17, 25-22, 25-22 in the semifinal of men's volleyball at the 6th East Asia Games (EAG) on Saturday.

  Despite five years younger than the opponents, the Chinese team got a flying. But Zhang Zhejia got hurt when the score was 4-4.

  Zhang, 209cm in height, was a key player for this match in the arrangement of Ju Genyin, head coach of the Chinese men's team.

  "Not as usual, I changed the positions as well as missions of different players this time to build up a different line-up," Ju said.

  The semifinal is the second time that China met with Japan at this EAG. Japan won the first encounter 3-1.
