自佛山公开赛诞生以来，每一届赛事组委会都会举办佛山公开赛资格赛，并为青少年球员腾出一个佛山公开赛参赛名额，以期让更多有高球天赋的青少年球员有机会在家门口与国内外的高尔夫优秀职业球员同场竞技，能在他们的高球生涯的启航阶段助一臂之力。今年将是佛山公开赛连续第五年举办资格赛。
The committee of Foshan Open holds the qualifier every year, offering a spot to the tournament for junior golfers, allowing more talented juniors to have a chance to compete with outstanding professional golfers from China and overseas. Also, they will become more experienced in their golf career. This year will be the fifth of the Foshan Open Junior Qualifier.
