今天，“茅台股份高尔夫酒”2017华南地区高尔夫俱乐部会员排名赛在佛山高尔夫球会华丽登场。全场62名业余高手，以个人比杆赛的形式，竞逐华南第一高手这一最高荣耀以及宝贵的2017佛山公开赛入围资格。最终，经过一番激烈的角逐，来自雅居乐中山长江高尔夫球会的李中球，在交出72杆平标准杆的成绩后，力压去年冠军庞浩泉，以三杆优势一举夺魁，他也因而成为继黄嘉培之后第二个通过资格赛入围2017佛山公开赛的幸运者。
Today, Moutai Golf Liquor - 2017 Southern China Golf Club Members’ Ranking Tournament Final was staged on Foshan Golf Club. Following the rules of stroke play, 62 amateur golf players, including the champion last year, Pang Haoquan, competed for the glory of Best Player in South China, and a valuable place at the 2017 Foshan Open. After a fiercely fought journey of 18 holes, Li Zhongqiu from Agile Golf & Country Club has been taken to the top of the leaderboard with a total score of 72, preceding the runner-up with 3 points. Following Huang Jiapei, Li therefore emerged as the second qualifier to secure the presence at the 2017 Foshan Open.

本届赛事的参赛阵容和去年一样鼎盛，它汇聚了华南包括佛山高尔夫球会、东莞峰景高尔夫球会、南海桃园高尔夫球会、珠海翠湖高尔夫球会、均安碧桂园高尔夫球会、深圳碧海湾高尔夫球会等27家具有全国影响力的高尔夫俱乐部的会员，其覆盖面之广、参赛阵容之强大，在华南屈指可数。参赛球员都是从8月15日的排名赛资格赛中脱颖而出的种子选手，代表了这27家高尔夫俱乐部的最高竞技水平。此次来到佛山高尔夫球会参加排名赛，既可通过此番竞技排定他们在华南业余高球界的座次，向世界展示其个人绝技，同时也由于他们还代表了球会出战，他们就格外珍惜这一机会，而前四名尤其是冠军的福利更是充分激发了他们的竞技状态。
2017 marked the second year of the Ranking Tournament, which continues to grow in coverage and stature. Participating players from 27 nationally influential golf clubs, including Foshan Golf Club, Dongguan Hillview Golf Club, Nanhai Peach Garden Golf Club, Zhuhai Lakewood Golf Club, Shunde Jun'an Golf Club and Shenzhen Green Bay Golf Club, have shown their strong support. The participants are all seeded qualifiers from the Ranking Tournament, representing the highest level of the 27 golf clubs. Today’s Ranking Tournament has provided a fabulous opportunity for players to learn their ranking among golf amateurs in South China and, furthermore, a stage for them to perform to the best of their ability on behalf of their own clubs. The big awards for the top four winners, especially for the champion, have proved to be very enticing for players to inspire golf potential.

去年冠军庞浩泉先生的一番话更道出了参赛球员的心声，他表示：“很感谢‘茅台股份高尔夫酒’2017华南地区高尔夫俱乐部会员排名赛为我们业余球员提供了一个征战职业赛事的机会。此前，我也曾参与过其他职业赛事的资格赛，但直到去年的排名赛才让我实现与职业球员同场竞技的梦想。去年佛山公开赛的经历让我的高球生涯变得更为丰满，而且，排名赛汇聚了华南地区的业余高手，很荣幸能有机会与他们当面切磋球技。我非常享受这场赛事。”
Pang’s words has fully expresses the players’ feelings, as he mentioned that “I feel very grateful for the opportunity to participate in the professional tournament which is provided by “Moutai Golf Liquor” -2017 South China Golf Clubs Ranking Tournament. Though I have participated in qualifiers of other professional tournaments, it was last year that I fulfilled the dream of competing with other professional golfers. I enjoy participating in the Qualifier and gathering with great amateur golfers in South China, which make me feel very honored and fulfilled”.

作为佛山公开赛的十年承办球场，佛山高尔夫球会为此次比赛进行了精心的准备。无论是发球台的设置还是果岭的布局，都极具挑战性。经过18洞的角逐，首次参加总决赛的李中球尽管遭遇庞浩泉等人的强劲挑战，但他按照自己赛前制定的策略，在后9洞大爆发，凭借极佳的竞技状态以及神勇的推杆，整轮下来，他先后抓下4只小鸟。当他来到第18洞发球台时，他已握有三杆优势，在这个五杆洞，他气势如虹推入一记45英尺的长推，为自己的精彩表现完美收官，在这场华南顶尖业余球员的大决战中战胜群雄。
As the tournament’s ten-year undertaker, Foshan Golf Club has made elaborate and considerate preparations, of which the tee-off, greens, or other layouts were lurking to pose challenges to the players. Though it is the first time for Li to have fought against a number of competitive contenders in this tournament final, he calmly carried out his strategy and scored surprising 4 birdies on the back nine holes. When he approached to the 18 hole tee-off, he boasted 3 points’ advantage. In this PAR-5 hole, he accomplished a powerful putting stretching 45 inches, marking a perfect end to his performance and reaping the victory of this tournament of the best amateur golfers in South China.

赛后，47岁的冠军李中球很兴奋地表示：“排名赛果然名不虚传，很多在华南高球界赫赫有名的高手都参加了本届赛事。今天的球场布局难度很高，很多发球台都是在黑TEE开球。佛山高尔夫球会的果岭暗线很多，需要小心应对。幸运的是，我今天发挥很理想，把握住机会，拿下了很多次重要的推杆。这次胜利让我得以首次参加佛山公开赛，为我提供了首次体验职业赛事的氛围的珍贵机会。”庞浩泉、吴奉年和徐敏生等三名球员表现不俗，分别交出75杆、76杆和78杆的佳绩，分获总杆亚军、季军和殿军。这三位球员一起获得了参加2017佛山公开赛职业-业余配对赛的资格。届时，他们将与来自世界各地的职业球员面对面切磋球技，以球叙友，增进友谊。
The 47-year-old Li Zhongqiu said excitedly after the tournament: “This Ranking Tournament is like what its name indicates because many top golfers in South China has participated in this tournament. Players should hit from the black tee and there are many traps in the greens, which makes the tournament difficult. Luckily, I was in-form and caught many opportunities to make successful putts. This victory makes me qualify for Foshan Open and provides me a valuable opportunity to take part in a professional tournament”. Pang Haoquan, Wu Fengnian and Xu Minsheng also performed well in the tournament with the total score of 75, 76 ad 78 respectively, which indicates that they have the qualification to participate in 2017 Pro-Am Tournamentwhere they will compete with professional golfers from all over the world.

总奖金为50万美金的佛山公开赛，是欧洲挑战巡回赛与中国男子职业高尔夫巡回赛的顶级赛事。它由国家体育总局小球运动管理中心主办，中国高尔夫球协会及欧洲挑战巡回赛共同批准赛事，将于10月19-22日在佛山高尔夫球会举行。对于那些身怀绝技的业余高手来说，被誉为“华南年度体育盛事之一”的佛山公开赛，显然是检验其球技的最佳赛场。
With total prize money amounting to $0.5 million, 2017 Foshan Open is one of the top events of the European Challenge Tour and China Tour. It is hosted by Multi-Ball Game Administrative Center of General Administration of Sports of China, co-sanctioned by the China Golf Association and the European Challenge Tour. Celebrated the title of “one of the top sports event in South China”, 2017 Foshan Open will be held from October 19th to 22th, providing a best platform for qualified amateur golfers to demonstrate their golfing skills.
