搜狐体育讯 On 1 June, the head coach of Chinese women’s table tennis team CAI Zhenhua and men’s team LIU Guoliang led their teams to Jinjiang and Amoi respectively, two cities in Fujian Province, for one-month enclosed training. CAI was not reserved in his boast of sweeping all titles in Athens 2004. The two enclosed training sessions were reported to be the last preparation for the Olympic Games which will be held this summer in Athens. Both are scheduled to end on 1 July. As only singles and doubles matches will be held in Athens, the training will focused on those two events. When asked what he expect to achieve in Athens, CAI said confidently that China’s ambition is to sweep all the four gold medals, as it did in Sydney in 2000. In contrast, LIU took a low profile in his expectations. Though China took all the eight titles in Korean and Singaporean Open, LIU guarded against over optimism. Some Olympic candidates were eliminated early, which was inauspicious for the coming Olympics. 转自搜狐
