The round-robin phase of Euro 2004 continued on Tuesday with matches in Group D, the so-called group of death which includes the Czech Republic, Germany, Holland and Latvia. The Feud between Germany and Holland went on with a one-all draw. Germany showed their best form when they took a 1-0 lead from a Torsten Fring free-kick in the 28th minute against their old rival. It's rare to see Holland in difficulty, but this was the case until the equaliser came from striker Ruud Van Nistelrooy assisted by a right-wing pass 10 minutes from time to make it a 1-all result. In the earlier game, Latvia nearly played the much fancied Czech Republic and put up a spirited performance going ahead just before half time. But they finally conceded a 2-1 defeat to Karel Bruckner's Czech side after goals from Liverpool striker Milan Baros and substitute Marek Heinz in the second half. 转自搜狐
